Meet Gina...


"When I was younger i was struggling with being overweight but I didn’t really have any idea of how to change my habits.

I hated PE or anything that meant me moving - but then I found a love for dancing and that really helped me lose a lot of weight.


I then went on to purchase my first workout dvd, went away to uni and found a love for HIIT workouts!


I then went to a Theatre school for 3 years to train there and I loved taking part in cardio sessions every morning.




Fast forward a year and a half and I’m getting to take cardio sessions for my job and help people that are on a similar journey.


I can safely say I am comfortable in my own skin. I may not have rock hard abs or guns of steel but I know I am fit and healthy and that’s all that matters.


I am now currently training as a personal trainer to be able to help people further and to hopefully get them to reach a similar mindset. I’ve never felt so at home and welcome. Studio 281 really is a family and I’ve built relationships with clients and staff that I will stick with me forever. I am so lucky get to call this place work and its really helped me appreciate what my body could do, instead of hating it".
